STORY

Born from award-winning education charity Football Beyond Borders (FBB), Jasper Kain, CEO and Founder of YBB, realised that despite building an aspirational youth brand through FBB with leading brands and agencies, these organisations often struggled to truly understand the next generation and deliver on their purpose-led aspirations.

ROOTS

In 2022, post-Covid, we knew that another world is possible. Drawing on a decade of experience at Football Beyond Borders (FBB), we noticed a widening gap between youth and organisations seeking to connect with them.

To address this we asked ourselves: how can we help companies positively contribute to the fabric of young people's lives? More than just a moment, but rather part of their core mission. It is a win-win. Better for young people, better for their business strategy and ultimately better for society.

This led to the creation of Youth Beyond Borders (YBB), a next generation company that facilitates connection and mutual understanding between young creative talent and organisations. What's more, YBB operates as a social enterprise, with our profits going to the charity FBB.

Jesse (a.k.a JS Starz) is a musical prodigy who is working to use his voice to uplift people and inspire them to be their best self. Jesse threw himself into a fresh challenge by signing up to the Alpine Run Project and took the Alps by storm whilst inspiring his friends back home to take up running. He is certainly one to watch.

Fikayo is a driven social entrepreneur who has plans to improve the lives of her family & the wider community she is connected to in Manchester. She came to YBB through the IDEATORR by Fiverr programme where she finished runner up winning £3,000 to support her business idea. Since then she has secured additional grants and funding for her business & continues to attend and get involved in YBB opportunities.

Hailing from Clapton, Hackney Abolaji (AB) is a trailblazer within the creative space carving out his own lane within music, fashion and culture. YBB has been able to showcase his amazing talent through the Talent Radar content series whilst supporting him in his development journey by providing internship opportunities & even working in partnership with him in delivering YBB projects.
